Caledonia Forms It’s First Life Chain

Over 150 community members gathered together in downtown Caledonia on Sunday October 5th. Despite a chilly afternoon, they united under a common belief: that every Canadian has the right to life. Joining thousands across the country that afternoon, the participants formed a Life Chain, a peaceful witness to the reality of abortion in Canada. Holding signs with simple messages such as “Abortion kills children” and “Abortion hurts women”, participants demonstrated to remind the government that the abortion debate is not over within the voting public. Organizers intend to make the Caledonia Life Chain an annual event.

To date, there are no legal restrictions on abortions in our nation’s hospitals and clinics, and roughly 100,000 pre-born children are killed every year as a result.
